Low dew point probe - Reliable measurement of trace moisture.

The new HC2-LDP probe is the latest development for the exact measurement of low dew point and temperature in pressurised environments. The probe and accessories can withstand pressures up to 100 bar. The measuring range of the probe is -70...85 °C Td / -40...85 °C.

The HC2-LDP probe

The new low dew point probe consists of a stainless steel probe (similar to the HC2-IE probe) with the corresponding measurement chamber. The probe is compatible to ROTRONICs transmitter and handheld devices like HF5, HF8, PF4, HP22 and HP23. Additionally it can be connected directly to HW4 for direct monitoring or device configuration.

The low dew point probe comes with the latest AirChip4000 technology. Calculates a measurement from the average of 8,000 single points within a 2 second interval and, together with the HYGROMER® LDP-1 dew point sensor, delivers measurements of the highest quality.

ATEX Version

We also offer the probe with EX certification for environments with ATEX requirements. The HF520-EX transmitter is also required for the ATEX setup.


Suitable measurement chambers with a defined air flow rate and a quick connector for optimum dew point measurement are available in POM and stainless steel. The base unit can be used for customization.
