Description
Designed for measurement of work place noise levels

SD 200

Sound Detector SD-200 is a compact, lightweight sound level meter designed to accurately measure workplace noise levels. Green, yellow and red LEDs flash the color that corresponds to the Optime Alert System, making it easy to select the appropriate level of hearing protection. The SD-200 offers an integrating feature that computes the average sound pressure level, allowing for more accurate assessment of intermittent
sound levels.

The user-friendly interface makes the SD-200 easy to operate. A rechargeable lithium polymer battery helps lower the total cost of ownership compared to other sound level meters that use replaceable batteries.

Advantages
In many work environments, noise levels are highly variable, making it difficult to accurately measure sound levels. The SD-200 helps solve this problem by providing the average sound pressure level. This advanced functionality is easy to use and delivers a steadier reading in environments such as manufacturing facilities or machine shops where noise levels are often highly variable

Features
  • Integrated Sound Level Meter which gives Leq or Lavg
  • Rechargeable Lithium polymer (1000mAh) battery which gives runtime more than 50 hours with low battery Indication.
  • USB cable provided to charge the instrument with the computer.
  • The user selectable LED Alert screen provides a quick visual reference of sound levels with green, yellow and/or red LEDs that flash when preset noise levels have been reached.
  • Meets ANSI S1.41983(R 2006), ANSI S1.43 1997 (R 2007), IEC 61672-1 (2002) IEC61010-1 (2010), EC standards.
  • Displays all required measurements like Sound Pressure Level (SPL), Average value (LEQ /LAVG), LED Alert (with Hearing Protection icon), Maximum value (MAX), Minimum value (MIN), Run-Time, Overload (OL), and  Under-Range (UR).

SE 400

The Sound Examiner SE-400 series of sound meters are engineered to accurately measure noise levels in highly variable environments. These easy-to-use instruments calculate the average sound pressure level (LEQ/LAVG) over the run time; data log the maximum, minimum and peak values, and enable data to be downloaded for further analysis.

Advantages
  • Intuitive User Interface
  • Optional Removable Preamp Microphone
  • Large Backlit Display
  • Remote Printing Capabilities
  • Data Logging
Features
  • Rugged design Water resistant and dust-proof designs (IP65 rated) with an ergonomic soft grip.
  • Rechargeable Lithium Polymer (2500 mAHr), runs 18 hours minimum (excluding the backlight).
  • Remote monitoring capability with removable preamp up to 15 meters.
  • Stores data up to 2MB.
  • Detection Management Software (DMS) to interpret data files.
  • Optional printing capability for local noise ordinances and enforcement.
